The multiple entry escape evacuation system is permanently installed within a vertical duct inside the building and allows occupants to access it on each plant, in this way several levels can be simultaneously evacuated. These sleeves are located inside a closed enclosure with fire -resistant walls and door that close automatically. A two -layer segment will be installed by floor, from the highest floor to the ground floor, in the same vertical line, without length or height restriction.

The multiple entry escape manga system is normally installed in the design stage before the building is built and strategically located so that occupants can access easily and safely during emergencies.

In the design stage, the provision of the vertical duct is similar to an "elevator axis" and has entrance to each floor of the building. The frame is placed in the square hole made on the floor, where the sleeve will be installed.

If there is no prior provision of the vertical duct/axis for the installation of the sleeve, the possible installation must go in an available floor enclosure (small room), from the highest floor to the ground floor, to leave safely in the same vertical line, without pipes of pipes, cables, air ducts, etc. at each level of the roof floor.

Possible sites or locations:

  • Hall or reserved runners.
  • Replacement elevators structure.
  • Pantry or storage room.
  • Space in the central nucleus of the fire staircase.
  • Extension of a rectangular structure outside the building, similar to an elevator hole.
  • If there is a previous provision of the vertical duct or axis for the installation of the sleeve, all the same will remain at a positive pressure to avoid the entry of smoke into the duct. An adequate ventilation system must be designed.

Location enclosure

There must be a small room or room on each floor. The enclosure requires a minimum area of ​​2 m2 on each floor of a building. This will have similarity from the upper floor, to the ground level, to the hole of a rectangular elevator, built inside or outside the building. The smallest wall must be at least 1 meter in length and the longest wall 2 meters. The wall of the enclosure should be built with fire -resistant materials of at least RF120 (120 minutes resistant to fire). The materials will be of MO category. A wall with a ceramic brick of 9 cm thick protected with chalk on both sides is considered acceptable.
