In PCI Tudemana 2021 S.L, we have all types of systems; Automatic extinction for bells, kitchen stoves, automatic fire protection equipment for unattended fuel service stations, automatic extinction for all types of facilities.

Stroke systems in kitchen bells

An extinction system for kitchen bells is an automatic and manual system, which aims to extinction of fires that may occur in industrial kitchens. Specially designed for the extinction of fires produced by the self -ignition of the kitchen oil.

For an automatic extinction system in industrial kitchens we will follow the UNE 23510 standard, previously described in the minimum technifume recommendations AESPI.

Automatic extinction system requirements in kitchen bells

An automatic cooking system is composed of:

  • Agent storage unit AFFF plus shot mechanism (mechanical or electric);
  • The location of the storage unit must be close to the kitchen without direct heat exposure.
  • Detection system composed of thermal fuses installed in the upper central part of the bell.
  • Manual shooting device / stuffer.
  • Pipe distribution to feed the extinguishing agent discharge nozzles.

activation of the extinction system in a kitchen bell

All extinction systems must have both automatic and manual activation methods. These activation methods must be independent of each other in order to prevent the failure of one from preventing the functioning of the other.

In the event that the shooting device works using a single line for mechanical detection and manual remote control, the latter must be installed online, before all detection devices, so that one failure in one does not prevent the proper functioning of the other.

  • Automatic detection and manual activation system must agree with the system manual.
  • Automatic detection must consist of an adequate number of independent detectors of the extinguishing agent distribution network that, generally, must be equipped with open -type diffusers.
  • The installation of closed type diffusers is allowed provided that the opening of any of them implies the opening of all the diffusers that make up the system.
  • All the necessary elements for the correct activation of the system must operate simultaneously or in the planned sequence. Likewise, the activation of any manual actuator must carry out the complete activation of the system.
  • At least a manual shot in each system must be available.
  • All these activation devices must be designed located, installed or protected in such a way that they are not subject to adverse mechanical or environmental conditions that give rise to the system being inoperative or that cause an unworthy activation of the system. Its activation or manipulation should only be allowed to authorized personnel.

Fixed fire extinguishing systems by gaseous extinguishers

Automatic extinguishers that are activated by means of devices (sprinklers, thermal probes, etc.) to guarantee more safety and quality and operation in fire extinction. ABC systems are used in closed and little busy areas, such as boilers. CO2 systems are suitable for telecommunications or electrical risk enclosures, such as transformers, and have the advantage that they do not leave waste after application. Systems with clean agent are suitable for enclosures with high ceilings (up to 7.5 m) and areas with low temperatures (-40º C). Cloudy water systems are suitable for the protection of machine rooms and turbine.

The systems by gaseous extinguishers will be composed, at least, by the following elements:

  • drive devices.
  • Operating control equipment.
  • Pressure gas containers.
  • Distribution pipes.
  • Discharge diffusers.

  • System drive will be by automatic detection or manual drive in an accessible place. All systems must be appropriate for installation
  • The risk of the protected area must be calculated and based on this, calculate the sufficient amount of gas from the containers to ensure the extinction of the fire, having to be justified at all times.
  • The evacuation of the personnel will be indispensable to use these systems, it must be guaranteed at all times. The shooting mechanism will have to carry a delay before its shot and a prealarma, allowing the evacuation of the room before the system shot.
  • The design and installation will be in accordance with the NORM UNE-EN 15004-1 and will be applied jointly with the standards of the UNE-EN 15004 series, according to the extinguisher agent used.
  • All components must bring the CE marking, as provided in the standards of the UNE-EN 12094
  • The manual shooting and unemployment mechanisms will be marked.

Extinction in gas stations

System characteristics

Installation obligation

Only its installation is mandatory in those stations in which a 24 -hour refueling service is offered, without personnel hired by the holder of the service station, such as in the self -service stations with prepaid suppliers.

Most used agents

Any extinguisher agent can be used with adequate extinguishing capacity for flammable liquid fires, such as foams and versatile dust.

Automatic drive

The system consists of a container cylinder of the extinguishing/propellant agent, a network of pipes that lead the product to nozzles and taraged elements to act as heat detectors that activate the discharge system.

Purpose

The purpose is to neutralize a fire conato probably caused by a fuel spill under the car, for this reason the elements for thermal detection and nozzles by which the discharge of the extinguisher agent is usually located in the sockets of the islands of the suppliers, aligning with the ground area on which the flames appear.
